Arsenal is poised to clinch the Premier League title for the first time in over 20 years after a narrow 1-0 victory against relegated Burnley on Monday evening.

Kai Havertz scored the decisive goal for the Gunners with a well-placed header, securing a crucial win at The Emirates and placing Mikel Arteta’s men five points ahead at the top of the standings.

The title could be awarded to Arsenal as early as Wednesday if Manchester City fails to secure a victory against Bournemouth. If that does not happen, the north London club will have a chance to celebrate their triumph by defeating Crystal Palace on Sunday.

In the meantime, reports have surfaced linking Arsenal with a move for Greek winger Christos Tzolis as they look to strengthen their squad during the upcoming transfer window.

According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal, along with Chelsea and Manchester United, has shown interest in the Club Brugge star ahead of a potentially busy summer transfer period.

Tzolis, now 24, made the move to Belgium from Fortuna Dusseldorf in 2024 and has since accumulated 106 appearances, netting 41 goals and providing 43 assists across all competitions.

Interest in the winger has already attracted attention from Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur during the recent January transfer window, hinting at a possible transfer saga for the gifted player this summer.

Despite ongoing interest, Tzolis is under contract with Club Brugge until the conclusion of the 2028/29 season, giving the Belgian club a strong negotiating position in any potential transfer discussions.

His versatility allows him to operate on either wing, although he has primarily been utilized on the left flank throughout his career in Belgium, illustrating his adaptability and skill set.
